Obituary for Toni Alyce Chaney

July 19, 1986, a bundle of joy, Toni Alyce Chaney, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Karen Chaney and Tony Walton. Toni was a bright cheerful baby and grew into a beautiful, spirited soul.

Toni attended Smart Start Child Care owned by her grandparents. She roamed the halls at at leisure, along with all of the other grandchildren. Her early childhood education began at Maranatha Christian Academy. Toni attended Swainston Middle School and Cheyenne High School.

Toni accepted Christ into her life as a teenager and was baptized at the Oakey Boulevard Church of Christ. Toni had aspirations of becoming a model and attended John Roberts Powers Modeling and Acting Agency. In Toni's adult years, she worked at the very place she roamed the halls, Smart Start Child Care. She was also employed as a Porter for the LAs Vegas Convention Center. She Developed a passion for serving her community and was employed at Gritz Cafe' as a Cashier/Server.

Toni was loyal to her family and friends. She was always there for them in good and bad times. The highlight of Toni's life was becoming a mother to Tre-Tre and Alexis. She was a good mom and loved her children until the day God called her home.

Her love will be cherished forever by her son, DeVauntra Cooper and Daughter, Alexis Cullins. Her parents, Karen Chaney and Anthony Walton; sisters, Keyosha Chaney, Angela Chaney, Kenyawni Chaney, Brittney Belin, Kenya Ericka,; brother, Anthony Walton; uncle, James Chaney Jr.; aunt, Brenda Chaney, Gwen Braimoh, Janice Williams, Trina Jiles and Barbara Nell Walton: God-daughter, Ta'Janee Robertson, Go-son, Kayvon Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Chaney Sr, Willia Mae Chaney and Erlene Walton; uncle, Pierre Chaney Sr, and nephew, Nolan Postell.
