Mary Ann Robinson

Mary Ann Robinson was born in Shellman, Georgia to Jarrett Whit and Rosie Lee Marcus on January 7, 1956. The family then relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. By 1969 she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she attended Von Tobel Middle school and graduated from Valley High School in 1974. Mary accepted Jesus Christ at Colossians Baptist Church at the age of eight years old in Jacksonville, Florida. Soon after she was baptized by her father.

In 1972, Mary Ann became a lovely and devoted mother to her one and only daughter, Antwanna Lakeyta Marcus-Johnson, who she loved and cherished, along with her three grandchildren, Madison, Makayla, and Mylon Tillman.

Mary Ann worked as a pastry worker at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas where she had a passion for Culinary Arts. She was full of laughter, she had an amazing sense of humor and there was never a dull moment with her. She loved to have a good time with family and friends.

Mary lived her best life until the end of her time on Earth. She went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Lee Marcus; her father Jarrett Marcus; and her sister, Juanita Swinson.
